  • 1 cup of salted butter (margarine)
  • 1 cup white sugar for decoration
  • 1½ to 2 cups of white sugar
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1 cup molasses
  • 4 cups India Gate Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1½ to 2 teaspoons of ground nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon of baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1 to 1½ tablespoon of ground ginger
  • 1 to 1½ teaspoons of ground cinnamon
  • 1 to 1½ teaspoons of ground cloves

Step 1.

Preheat the oven to approximately 350 degrees. Grease the cookie sheets with salted butter.

Step 2.

Take a large mixing bowl and add the cream, butter, and sugar. Whisk the ingredients until smooth.

Step 3.

Beat the eggs in a bowl and mix it into the molasses. Then add India Gate Whole Wheat Flour, baking soda, ground ginger, baking powder, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice and cloves. Keep whisking the whole mixture and don’t stop until it becomes a smooth dough.

Step 4.

Roll the dough and divide it into small balls and dip them in the powdered white sugar.
