Whole Wheat Blueberry Muffins - Recipe

Ingredients
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 ½ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup sugar
2 tbsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
⅛ tsp nutmeg
2 egg(s)
1 cup buttermilk
½ cup canola oil
2 cup(s) fresh or frozen blueberries
Directions
In a big bowl, combine all the dry ingredients - both types of flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, nutmeg and salt.
In a separate bowl, add all the wet ingredients - eggs, buttermilk and oil.
Combine both these bowls till a soft mixture is formed. Gently mix in the blueberries as well.
Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
Take a pan/mould for cupcakes, and grease it all over with butter. Add the mixture to these moulds with a toothpick to check whether they are cooked.
Bake for approximately 15-20 minutes, or until the toothpick comes out clean.
Rest on a cooling rack, decorate the way you like, and serve warm with your favorite beverage.
