1 cup of semolina
1 cup of thick cur
½ tablespoons of sugar
1 tablespoon of grated ginger
1 tablespoon of chili paste
2 tablespoons of oil
Salt to taste
¼ cup of water
¾ tablespoons of baking soda
Take semolina and curd in a large mixing bowl.
Add sugar, ginger, chili paste and salt. Mix it well.
Let it rest for 30 minutes.
Add water as required.
Get the batter to idli batter consistency.
Add baking soda to make the batter frothy
Transfer the mixture to a greased plate.
Let it steam for 12-15 minutes.
Cut the dhokla to desired shape.
Serve the rava dhokla with green chutney.
