Rawa Dhokla Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of semolina
  • 1 cup of thick cur
  • ½ tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon of chili paste
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • Salt to taste
  • ¼ cup of water
  • ¾ tablespoons of baking soda

Directions

 

  • Take semolina and curd in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add sugar, ginger, chili paste and salt. Mix it well.
  • Let it rest for 30 minutes.
  • Add water as required.
  • Get the batter to idli batter consistency.
  • Add baking soda to make the batter frothy
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased plate.
  • Let it steam for 12-15 minutes.
  • Cut the dhokla to desired shape.
  • Serve the rava dhokla with green chutney.
