- 1 Cup India Gate maida
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ghee
- 1/2 cup water
- To make a soft dough, combine maida, salt, ghee, and water in a large mixing bowl.
- Add water gradually as needed to knead the flour.
- To roll out the dough, divide it into equal little sections and spread it out into balls.
- To avoid sticking, dip each ball in water or oil from one side before rolling.
- Roll each ball into an equal-sized circle.
- In a pan or kadhai, heat the oil over high heat.
- When the oil is heated enough to cook the Luchi, slide it into the heated oil.
- Luchi will start to swell. Cook on both sides, taking care not to burn it.
- To remove the extra oil, drain it on paper towels.
- Serve the hot Luchi right away with aloo ki sabzi or your favourite curry.
