  • 1 cup India Gate dalia
  • ½ cup soaked corn 
  • 2 tablespoon peas shelled
  • 1 cup mix vegetables chopped
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1 Teaspoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon rai
  • few curry leaves
  • Salt according to taste
  • Red chilli according to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder


  • Dalia should be washed and cooked in a pressure cooker. After two whistles, turn off the gas. It should be sieved and washed before being set away.
  • Bring all of the soaked corn, chopped vegetables and peas to a boil. Put aside. 
  • Heat the oil in the pressure cooker again and sputter the rai and curry patta. For 1 minute, sauté the onion. Cook for another minute after adding the vegetables. 
  • Now add salt, red chilli, turmeric powder, and 1/2 cup water to the boiling dalia. Switch off the gas after two whistles and let the steam escape.....serve hot.
