Ingredients
India Gate Wheat flour-1 cup
Almond flour- ½ cup (toast almond for few minutes and blend in to a fine powder)
Butter- ½ cup
Brown sugar- ¼ cup
Milk-1 tbsp
Vanilla extract- ½ tsp
Jam- ¼ cup (any flavor)
Directions
In a mixing dish, cream together the butter and brown sugar.
Mix in the vanilla extract thoroughly.
In a mixing dish, combine the flour and almond flour.
Gradually incorporate it into the butter mixture and crush well.
Mix in the milk until a dough-like consistency is achieved.
Refrigerate it for 30 minutes after covering it.
Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius and butter and flour the baking tray.
Make a ball out of a tbsp of dough, carefully flatten it (to a thickness of one inch), and make a thumb impression in the centre.
Bake for 15 minutes after completing all of the cookies in this manner.
Melt the jam over a low flame (for a minute only)
Evenly apply it to each cookie's imprints.
