1. Peanut Butter Cookies 



  • 1 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter 
  • 1 Cup Sugar 
  • 1 Egg 


  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and spread out a large cookie sheet along with parchment paper.
  2. Stir the three ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Scoop out 2 tablespoons of the mix and roll into a ball.
  4. Place cookie dough rolls on a cookie sheet.
  5. Press down the ball with a fork. Create any pattern of your choice by pressing down the fork again at a different angle.
  6. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
  7. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool for a minute or two. Then set them aside to continue cooling.

2. Chocolate Mug Cake 



  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar


  1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.   
  2. Transfer the prepared mix into a large mug or 2 small mugs at your convenience. This mix will rise up and then settle back down. 
  3. Microwave for 50-60 seconds on the high setting. Do not overcook.

3. Classic Banana Bread



  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 ½  cups lightly mashed bananas (about 4 medium-sized bananas)
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½  teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly spray an 8-inch x 4-inch loaf pan with some non-stick cooking spray and evenly sprinkle 1 tablespoon cinnamon sugar. 
  2. Melt the butter until just melted. Whisk in the sugar until it's smooth. Mix in the beaten eggs until blended well. Add the vanilla and mashed banana and stir until just combined.
  3. Gently add in the flour, baking soda and cinnamon.
  4. Pour the prepared batter into the loaf pan evenly and sprinkle a tablespoon of cinnamon sugar on the top.
  5. Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a knife or chopstick comes out clean from the center of the loaf. If you see the top of the bread getting baked before the middle, then tint the loaf pan with some foil and continue baking until the bread is cooked inside-out.
  6. Let the banana bread cool completely before you take it out of the pan.

4. Coffee Muffins 



  • ¾ cup (150g) granulated sugar
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt and a pinch more for the crumble
  • 1 ½ cups and 2 tablespoons (201g) all-purpose flour (maida)
  • 2 tablespoons (28g) butter melted
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • ½ cup (50g) packed brown sugar


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray mini muffin pans with some nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Stir the granulated sugar, oil, egg, and vanilla in a large bowl until they are mixed well. Add in some milk and stir.
  3. Whisk the baking powder with ½ teaspoon salt, and 1 ½ cups flour in a medium bowl. Add the dry ingredients into wet ingredients and mix slowly. Use 1 tablespoon of batter per cavity, while filling the muffin pans.
  4. Melt the butter in the bowl used for the dry ingredients. Stir some cinnamon with 2 tablespoons of flour, a pinch of salt, and some brown sugar. The prepared mixture will be crumbly in texture. 
  5. Place about ½ to ¾ teaspoon of crumbs on each muffin as a topping.
  6. Bake the muffins for 9-10 minutes. You may have to continue till a toothpick comes out clean from the muffins’ center.
  7. Cool it before removing it from the pan. It’s easiest to use a knife to remove the muffins from the pan.
  8. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days to freeze for up to one month. You may also bake them in mini muffin liners instead of straight in the muffin pan.

5. Shortbread Cookies



  • All Purpose Flour - Maida 
  • Butter 
  • Powdered Sugar


  1. Preheat your oven and place a baking sheet along with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the soft butter and confectioners sugar together in a large bowl or stand mixer.
  3. Add in the flour and mix well.
  4. On a powder sugar-dusted counter, roll the dough into a log.
  5. Wrap the log and refrigerate for 30 minutes. This helps in developing the flavor and ensures that your cookies don’t spread during baking.
  6. Slice the dough into your desired size of cookies and place them on a baking tray.
  7. Bake for 16-18 minutes and allow it to cool.

6. Dinner Rolls 


  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 4 tablespoons butter (in small pieces)
  • 3/4 cup hot water
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 4-5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 ounce package or 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast 


  1. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees.
  2. Heat the milk and butter for 90 seconds, on the high setting, in a small bowl or microwave-safe measuring cup. 
  3. Pour into a mixing bowl. 
  4. Add 3/4 cup of hot water.
  5. Add sugar and salt. Mix until well blended. 
  6. Add 2 cups of flour and yeast and stir for about 1 minute.
  7. Set it aside for 5 minutes.
  8. Add 2 more cups of flour to the mix, pouring one cup at a time.
  9. Add some additional flour if needed until the dough separates from the bowl.
  10. Knead for 5 minutes until you get the silky texture.
  11. Butter a 9 x 13 baking pan.
  12. Cut dough into desired shapes and add to the prepared pan.
  13. Put into the preheated 170-degree oven to rise. This takes about 30 minutes.
  14. Once your buns are the desired size.
  15. Turn up the heat to 350 degrees.
  16. Bake for about 20 minutes, until the color gets slightly brown.
  17. Use melted butter and coarse salt as a topping if needed.

7. Carrot, Coconut and Zucchini Bread 


  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large coarsely grated carrots
  • 1 medium coarsely grated zucchini
  • 1 1/4 cups shredded sweetened coconut


  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Spray an 8-by-4-inch loaf pan with some cooking spray.
  2. Use a medium-sized bowl to mix the flour with the baking powder, baking soda and salt. 
  3. Whisk the eggs with the canola oil and both sugars until you get a smooth texture. 
  4. Stir in the carrots, zucchini and 3/4 cup of the shredded coconut, then add in the dry ingredients just until blended.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of coconut once you pour the prepared batter into the pan.
  6. Cover the pan loosely with some foil and bake for about an hour and a half. Make sure that the top gets golden brown and a knife or toothpick comes out clean of the center of the loaf before you stop baking. 
  7. Transfer the bread to a rack to cool for about half an hour, then turn it out and let it cool completely.
